LP Conversion
In time I have found that most people that still have LP's usually have one of a few situations. Either the recording is very rare and was never brought over to digital form by the original label. Or the original label no longer exists therefore eliminating the possibility that they will transfer it over.
My approach ....
It seems that I have found an approach that makes most people happy for varied reasons. It results in varying prices and also fits the customers needs or wants. I normally will convert LP's and leave one track as the original album side, then also break it down to the individual tracks as well.
Besides those options I also offer the customer the option of how much that they want the album cleaned up of noises and pops as well. The last option is more dependent on the album than my will as an older album will cause more noise that is integrated into the actual stream of music. But no matter what I will do my best and about 95% of the time will be able to get the result the customer wants.
